Falcon in a Dream

In ancient Egypt, the falcon was considered sacred to the sun god Ra. Horus, along with other gods, was able to assume the form of a falcon, or a human with a falcon's head, when necessary. Falcons have been tamed and trained for sporting purposes for at least 2,500 years. Falconry is still practiced today, but was most popular in the Middle Ages when younger members of the royal families of Europe participated in the sport. To dream of a falcon is a sign that your innate spirituality can, and should, be tamed and become a part of every aspect of your life.
