Lynx in a Dream
The mythical lynx was half dog and half panther. It was believed to have extraordinary, penetrating vision. Because of its excellent vision, the ancient Greeks believed it could detect falsehood and even see through walls. The lynx, as we know it today, is a solitary animal with excellent hearing but only reasonable sight. In medieval times, the lynx was associated with the devil. Native Americans believed the lynx collected secrets and hidden knowledge.
